Other means to get to Koh Chang
If your schedule does not match our time tables or if you feel that your require a higher level of comfort for your transfer to Koh Chang, here are some other options to consider.
Pattaya to Koh Chang Private Minibus Service
Smaller parties (1-3 persons) may prefer to travel the approximately 4 hours from Bangkok's Pattaya City all the way to their resort on Koh Chang in a private, chauffeur driven limousine and for families or groups of 3 or more persons there is the Minibus from Pattaya to Koh Chang service.
How to continue after Koh Chang
If you intend to visit some of the other islands in the Koh Chang archipelago during your stay in Thailand, the fastest and safest way will be with the Koh Chang Speedboats to Koh Kood & Koh Mak. They operate a daily bus boat service between Kai Bae Beach on Koh Chang, the Makathanee pier on Koh Mak and many of the private piers on Koh Kood under which the Koh Kood Resort and her little sister: the Koh Kood For Rest Boutique house. Stops at Koh Wai are optional and need to be booked several days in advance, while for trips to Koh Mak or Koh Kood, 1 or 2 days usually suffice.
